Queer N Y, photographer Eli Schmidt launched FROCK in 2018 as a source where the queer community can see themselves represented without censorship . It started as a website featuring photo stories, interviews, performance and erotic films. Using the language of homoerotic photography and self produced artist journals FROCK celebrates the dynamic diversity of the entire LGBTQ+ community

Kudos to both Sony Pictures Television and ABC TV for their groundbreaking move casting transgender actor Emmett Preciado as a Guest Star on The Good Doctor. Preciado plays a fully rounded trans character devoid of all the cliched sterotypes which is a major breakthrough for mainstream TV.
Queerguru tracked the disarmingly charming Preciado to talk about his take on it all. Our prediction that he is destined for a bright future both in acting and also as a role model of future generations of trans people everywhere.
Check out our interview and you’ll see why we are so excited about being able to share this all with you

Sequin-clad satirical weirdos Bourgeois & Maurice are alien siblings from another planet but they also are quintessential eccentric Brits. And an extremely talented pair too. The award-winning duo are stars in London’s Alternative East End and in touring the globe their outrageous and idiosyncratic act have collected them international fans who love their discerning perfomance art.
In 2020 they enjoyed critical success with their sixth new musical Insane Animals, commissioned and produced by HOME Manchester. The hit show played to packed crowds for 3 weeks until the wretched Covid 19 Lockdown brought it all to an abrupt end, Now almost a year later they are about an Original Cast Album as a preview to re-opening the Show when the World gets back on its axis.
Queerguru talked with Bourgeois & Maurice about this and caught up with all their other news.
We first met Mrs. Kasha Davis a larger than life Drag Queen when she was appearing at one of out favorite cabaret venues : The Pilgrim House in PTown. We actually interviewed her a couple of times there, but now we are meeting ……. through the power of the internet ……. to talk about Workhorse Queen.

What ever happens along the way never seems to dent her irrepressible good spirits even though she may have to reluctantly re-think her path forward.
Mrs Kasha Davis is part ‘old school drag’ who rely on their life’s experiences to hone their acts in front of a live audience over years. These constitute a genre known as drag royalty that include the likes of Lady Bunny,Lypsinka,Coco Peru,Varla Jean Merman,Miss Richfield 1981 and Dina Martina and that Mrs Davis aspires to be a part off
Prior to the film’s World Premiere at Slamdance Film Festival both star and director talked with Queerguru
