Australia’s award-winning cult-cabaret mischief-makers, circus stars, and heart-stopping hooligans  BRIEFS FACTORY  …….. part circus, part comedy, part drag, and part burlesque ….. and very queer and very outrageous ….. join forces with much-celebrated songbird Sahara Beck. for a brand new extravagant show.

They are in Europe right now with their brand new show BITES CLUB which was a sensational hit at Glastonbury Festival.  Now they are about to open at London’s Southbank Centre before playing the whole of August at the prestigious  Edinburgh Festival   We caught up with co-creator Fez Faanana via Zoom to find out what the excitement is all about.

Mike Waller talks about CANDY ….the touching story of falling in love with a drag queen

Will has fallen hopelessly in love with the seductive singer, “Candy”. The only problem: she’s his best mate in drag. As Will struggles to make sense of his newfound feelings, his life crumbles at the fringes. Should he seize life by his bollocks and tell Candy how he feels? Can he ever be with her? And what does loving her really mean? Queerguru talks with actor #MichaelWaller on the eve of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe where he and Reboot Theatre Company will be performing CANDY at the Underbelly Theatre.

Peter Groom talks about his smash hIt one (wo)man show DIETRICH: NATURAL DUTY as it heads for Edinburgh Fringe Festival

On the eve of the multi-talented Brit performer PETER GROOM opening his smash hit one (wo)man show  DIETRICH: NATURAL DUTY to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he very excitedly talked to Queerguru about it and his total fascination with the legendary MARLENE DIETRICH

The show uses music, stories and songs – including Falling in Love Again, Lili Marlene, Where Have All the Flowers Gone?, Boys in the Backroom, Lola – to reveal a Hollywood icon’s extraordinary commitment to duty, and is an intoxicating mix of theatre, cabaret and drag

Created and performed by Peter Groom. Co-written and directed by Oliver Gully.   Dietrich: Natural Duty  will run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at Pleasance  Aug 1 – 27 at 3.30pm (1 hour)
