Award-winning indie filmmaker Bobbi Jo Hart latest doc Fanny: The Right to Rock the untold story of the pioneering all-female rock band in the 70’s, both Filipino and queer: winner of best movie at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival  it has now been selected at Closing Night Gala at Outfest in LA complete with surprise musical guests.

His latest film is Boulevard: A Hollywood Story a little-known real-life story about the gay couple who were penning the ‘original musical of Sunset Boulevard with #GloriaSwanson herself.

This year their 11 day festival features 160+ films and is their most inclusive and diverse festival in history – with over 70% of films directed by women, trans, and people-of-color.
