Life Animated, the award winning documentary, is unquestionably one of the most inspirational movies of the year. It is the story of Owen Suskind, a young man who was unable to speak as a child until he and his family discovered a unique way to communicate by immersing themselves in the world of classic Disney animated film. Directed by Roger Ross Williams, it tracks how the extraordinary Suskind family came together and helped Owen evolve into an amazing independent young man.

queerguru aka Roger Walker-Dack reviews the Peregrine Theatre Ensemble’s production of Jonathan Tolins Off-Broadway smash hit play Buyer & Cellar with a real tour-de-force performance from the very talented Nic Cory.

This is the third & final production of Peregrine’s 2016 Season and will be playing at the Provincetown Theater until Sept 4th 2016.

Roger Rees William’s award-winning documentary is based on the best selling book by Ron Suskind about Owen his autistic son. It tells the tale of how Suskind, a Pulitzer Award winning writer with The Wall Street Journal, and his wife Cornelia dealt with the discovery that at the age of 3 years old Owen was diagnosed with autism, and how the family embarked on a remarkable journey together over the next 20 years.

It is unquestionably one of the most inspirational movies of the year.
