P.S.Queerguru would love you to bits if you did us one tiny favor. Despite the fact that we have had almost 250K hits on YouTube (yeah!) they will not give us a single cent of the advertising money that they make off us until we have more subscribers. Won’t cost you a dime, but it will help support our site. Just simply click on the link below. Thank you very much!
Provincetown is such a magical place that here even Joan Rivers is alive and well and performing her new Show THE BITCH IS BACK at Pilgrim House. queerguru sat down with everyone’s favorite fabulous potty-mouth comedian as she threw shade about EVERYONE ……including us, and all courtesy of the talented Joe Posa as Joan Rivers.

When David Drake’s production of Terrence MacNally’s Tony Award winning classic play LOVE, VALOR & COMPASSION opened in the Provincetown Theater last week, it quite rightly was greeted by rave reviews. With McNally and his husband Broadway Producer Tim Kirhady in the audience, the atmosphere was electrifying and the talented cast of gay actors really outdid themselves, It was probably the best piece of theater that Queerguru has witnessed in all our summers up here .
Amongst the cast was NY actor/singer Justin D. Quackenbush making his Provincetown debut with an exhilarating scene stealing performance as Buzz that never let up once in the whole 2 and a half hours. With perfect timing, he really relished every ounce of humor of MacNally’s magnificent script with its wonderful hilarious veins that peppered this story about a what was essential tough time for NY’s gay community, and indeed elsewhere.
We were completely captivated and were delighted when Justin agreed to be interviewed for our series The Passion of P Town about people and events who are passionate about what they do here in out town.
Filmed by Dan Desjardins at Provincetown and with stills from Sacha Ferrier-Cohen.

When two superstar drag queens decide to stick it out in a desolate snow-laden #Provincetown winter there is bound to be high drama afoot. Peaches Christ and Varla Jean Merman recount their hilarious adventures in The Whining, very (very) loosely adapted (bastardized?) from Stephen King‘s classic horror tale. It’s totally outrageous and thoroughly bad taste, but will have you howling for more.
Our thanks as always to both of the Stars and also to Brian W Johnston for facilitating it as usual
