If you are in London tomorrow Saturday 19th October then you have to make tracks to Fitzrovia for the opening of the first BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! Gallery Café . It is the first fine art photography gallery dedicated to queer and gay photography in the UK.
The launch exhibition includes artworks by AdeY, Yves de Brabander, Mathias Chaillot, Alexander Courtman, Tyler Udall. Alessandro Pollio, and Michael Søndergaard, It’s all part of the vision of Ghislain Pascal’s and has been, implemented and designed by Alison Henry Design.
We love the sheer attention to detail and they even have a playlist for the gallery which has been curated by Virgin Radio DJ and podcaster Graeme Smith.
The Opening is from 12-5pm and if you manage to make it and meet Ghislain, just tell him we invited you. If not then watch this space as hopefully they will be opening one near you soon! Everything is of course still available online at boysboysboys.org.
P.S.
Every Wednesday night a leading member of the queer and gay community will talk as part of the BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! MEETSprogramme.
The autumn / winter schedule includes some amazing speakers including Ben Spriggs, the Editor in Chief of Elle Decoration; Joseph Galliano-Doig MBE, the co-founder and ex CEO of Queer Britain, the UK’s first queer museum; and ceramicist William Martin. Alongside some of the amazing BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! photographers Mathias Chaillot, Yves de Brabander, Mariano Vivanco and Ashish Gupta.
