On the eve of Thanksgiving when our thoughts turn to families here in the U.S., news comes from across the Pond of how some people who just do not want to grow up, are forming their own type of ‘families’. And we are not taking about Peter Pan here!
Once a month in London’s oldest gay bars Central Station a group of adult babies get together to play at mummies and daddies and their own version of happy families. The organizers say that purpose of A.B.C. (Adult Baby Club) is to provide a safe space for ABs, *DLs, as well as mummies and daddies, and for those babies who are feeling a bit more “naughty”, they are also have a private area for them to get wild and let their hair down!
We were not sure what to expect if we go visit, so we checked out some of the Club’s guidelines. For example, there is no dresscode, however they ask that you wear some form of underwear as to not make others around you uncomfortable. Be it just a nappy, or other types of undies. ABC is not a sex club, but they do provide a darker secluded play area each month for those feeling frisky, and you have to try to confine any activities in these areas.
