Yesterday the Speaker of the House of Commons and the Leader of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament Building known as the Palace of Westminster, set aside centuries of protocol  and raised the gay rainbow flag to mark Pride in London week. It’s yet another reason why the country is officially known as Great Britain.
