With a storied career as a celebrity host for Hotspots Magazine and Happening Out Television Network, Kitty Meow has been a central figure in the LGBTQ+ community for decades. Known for vibrant performances and a dedication to advocacy, Kitty Meow has hosted numerous prestigious events, including the White Party in Miami and New York City.

With a mission to inform, educate, and celebrate the diverse facets of the LGBTQ+ community, Miss Kitty Meow is a legendary figure in South Florida’s entertainment scene.

Professor Julio Capo Jr. is not only an acclaimed author and historian but also a committed advocate for public history and LGBTQ+ community engagement. His first book, Welcome to Fairyland: Queer Miami before 1940, received multiple awards for its insightful exploration of Miami’s queer past. His active participation in public history projects, like curating ‘Queer Miami: A History of LGBTQ Communities’ and contributing to National Park Service initiatives, highlights his dedication to enriching public understanding of LGBTQ+ histories.
