queerguru doesn’t usually approve of re-making classic movies as they usually end up being total disasters, but we just might change our minds for Lady Gaga who is slated to star in a new version of A  Star Is Born.  She will never surpass Judy Garland, but she will certainly  do a better job than the version with Barbra Striesand!

Talking of remakes, out gay actor Ben Wishaw is going to do Mary Poppins. Correction, he is playing grown up Michael Banks, BUT we like the idea of him as a Mary too.

Olympic swimmer Rachele Bruni who won silver in the 10km marathon, and then decided to come out by dedicating the medal to her supportive girlfriend. Bruni was one of 51 out LGBT athletes in the Rio Games, but the only one from Italy.
