There was a time when in performance terms The BRIT Awards were considered like the poor man to the US Grammys, but PINK has certainly changed all that. Her electrifying show-stopping performance this week just blew the minds of the audience, who are now wondering why the hell it took the Organisers 16 years to get her back for the Awards.
Pink performed a medley of her biggest classics such as Try, Just Give Me a Reason, Just Like Fire, What About Us, as well as her new pop anthem Walk Me Home, the lead single from her upcoming eighth studio album.
She was there to be the first international artist to receive the prestigious award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, which hasn’t been presented to any performer since 2012.
Pink’s eighth album, Hurts 2B Human, will be her first since her 2017 release Beautiful Trauma, which topped the charts in countries such as the UK, US, Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland. It has already been certified platinum in the US and 2xPlatinum in the UK even though it is officially not released until April
