Before the new season started, the Major League Baseball announced plans to update the playing uniforms for all 30 clubs. This news landed on our Editors desk but was totally overlooked until the rumbling in the players ranks got really loud.
As the league rolled-out the uniform and photographs started to appear in the Press it was like another case of the ‘emperors new clothes“. No-one was naked but all of the players underwear were very visible beneath the new uniform
Yankees reliever Tommy Kahnle told the New York Post that his pants, in addition to being see-through, are “a little tighter than we’re used to”. That’s despite Nike saying it body-scanned “more than 300 MLB players to dial into the ideal fit”.
Queerguru failed to get some soft ofofficial comment if their intentions had to been to feature all the players ‘assets” more …… maybe in a misquided attempt to attract more gay supporters? As if we would respond to such a cheap tactic!
