It was 8am on a very cold Sunday morning at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2009 and we were clutching large cups of steaming hot coffee and were about to see the first movie of the day. It was to be our very first glimpse of relatively unknown Brit actor Aaron Johnson starring as a young John Lennon in Nowhere Boy. For his captivating performance he collected a few Award nominations, totally won our hearts and also that of the films director Sam Taylor-Jackson. She was 23 years older than him, but that didn’t stop the pair marrying a couple of years later.
Fast forward some 15 years later and now known as Aaron Taylor-Johnson, with some 55 movies under his belt (and still very happily married with 4 daughters) he looks nothing like John Lennon anymore. In fact he is stunningly handsome ….. so much so he is tipped as the front runner to be the next James Bond. If there is any reals justice in the world, he would be a shoo in. Meanwhile the Queerguru team have all their digits crossed
