Every year NY’s MCC Theater’s annual Miscast gala is one of the most exciting and unique theater events in town. Broadway’s hottest stars perform songs from roles in which they would NEVER be cast. The results are thrilling and in this year’s Gala earlier this week there was a well-deserved standing ovation for the two hotties Aaron Tveit (playing Maureen ) and Gavin Creel (as Joanne) singing “Take Me or Leave Me” from Rent.
