Confession time of sorts. The Queerguru Team does not always agree on everything that makes it to our pages. But we seem to be unanimous about the genderqueer Brit singer Sam Smith. We just don’t like them. Yes we know they are highly successful winning four Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards, three Billboard Music Awards, and an American Music Award, as well as a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. It just reminds us that we may be one big LGBTQ+ community now but we still don’t have to love each other.
Having got that off my editorial chest I now have to tell you that I really do like this latest video of them and Kim Petras performing Unholy. It already sits at number 3 on the Hot 100 and number one on the Global 200.
P.S. Smith’s third single, “Stay with Me“, was internationally successful, reaching number one in the UK and number two in the US. We still prefer Daniel Franzese’s take on it
