We so need TRANS PRIDE this year more than ever given the fact the community is so under attack from so many quarters right now. So tomorrow Sat May 20th we are heading to Trans Pride Washington, DC for a jam-packed day of celebrations and workshops/
After a few years away community volunteers are excitedly following in the footsteps of trailblazers like SaVanna Wanzer, founder of Trans Pride in DC, to bring trans-centered programming where trans folx lead the way!
The goals are very simple:
create space for our community
elevate the voices of our community through programming and workshops
make connections & network
The full day of workshops will be at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library located at 901 G Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. This event is free for trans, non-binary, gender expansive folx, and all allies!
