Secrets swirl around Miss Benny’s Swampland Casino like Mississippi mud. Yet, even in the darkest recesses of the bayou, the truth will eventually come to light. The “filthiest jook joint on the delta,” has known its share of trouble, but a new breed of destruction walks through the door with the appearance of an aimless drifter named “Snakeskin” Brillstein. Most women, and even some men, are powerless to his charms, but even Snakeskin gets more than he bargained for with Miss Benny, the owner of the jook. Miss Benny doesn’t like to be powerless.
