Finally, all Bears everywhere can come out of hibernation and Covid Lockdown’s and head for Provincetown and their favorite annual theme week: BEAR WEEK. Many of the beefy hirsute visitors will be leaving Tea Dance early on Sunday 11th to scurry down Commercial Street heading for the Pilgrim House . (which has very little to do with either pilgrims or puritans anymore)
The occasion is a Charity Show billed as The Gayest Show in Town ….. which is saying something as the whole town is packed with superb queer entertainers. (What IS the collective noun for drag queens en masse?) This madcap evening features some of Provincetown’s finest performers in a Vegas-Style Follies Extravaganza with proceeds benefiting the Provincetown Business Guild.
The Show is being co-hosted by Showbiz Spitfire Paige Turner (who we interviewed a few weeks ago) and Jonathan Hawkins. Confirmed performers include Steve Grand, Seth Sikes, Daniel LeClaire, Anita Cocktail, João Pedro Santos, Todd Alsup, Matt W Cody and Madame
