According to Websters dictionary a ‘larrikan yakka’ is an Australian term for a ‘boisterous, often badly behaved young man who does hard physical work’. In this new superb book by acclaimed photographer PAUL FREEMAN these particular muscular rugged larrikans have just finished work and are in a state of undress presumably to start the more fun part of their day.
In this his second Larrikan Book, Freeman has captured the evocative spirits of these strong silent working men in their natural habitat so absolutely perfectly. You can see more of his work and purchases his books at http://www.paulfreeman.com.au/
