We knew about the inspired casting of Olivia Colman as Her Majesty The Queen and Helena Bonham Carter as her good-time sister Princess Margaret, Tobias Menzies as the Duke of Edinburgh, and Ben Daniels as Tony Armstrong-Jones. However what we didn’t know until now is that Prince Charles is being played by heartthrob Josh O’Connor who won over all our hearts (and a few Awards) as the lonely gay farmer in God’s Own Country.
We guess he won’t be taking all his clothes for this role. Pity.
