The ubiquitous queer Brit fashion designer Jonathan Anderson seems to be popping up all over the place these days. Known for his own very collectable label J.W. Anderson in his store in London’s Soho, he has collaborated on special collections for Topshop, Uniqlo and Versace. He is also creative director of Loewe, a division of LVMH who also bought a stake in his company
His latest project is part of the 100th Celebrations of the birth of Tom of Finland the most celebrated queer artist of the last century. Typically Anderson the pieces are must-haves but you’ll have to love both him and Tom to pay the pretty prices ….. but they will become collectable in time so maybe they are worth the extravagance
P.S. J.W, Anderson’s London Soho store has just reopened with the release of our “Burning House” collection benefitting @Visual_AIDS an organisation founded in 1988 to raise awareness and support HIV+ artists.
