If you watched The Graham Norton Show on BBC America at the weekend, then you will know the Girls are back. In the 1980’s the British pop group Bananarama were so successful that they have a listing in The Guinness Book of Records as the all-female group with the most chart entries in the world.
The girls Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey and Keren Woodward also became known for the fact that they sang in unison and not in harmony like other groups. Fahey left the group back in 1988, but now they have reformed and about to start touring again. Singing their 1983 #9 U.S. hit “Cruel Summer” on the Graham Norton Show proved that they haven’t lost one bit of their sparkle.
