Adams Nest: Giving Back Whilst Staying Safe

Adam’s Nest is one of our favorite stores that opens up each summer in Provincetown.   They are politically engaged, socially conscious, spiritually connected, a bit naughty, queer & visible. Art, apparel, jewelry, whatnot!

Jeremy Novy is an artist currently living in Los Angeles. In a recent  article he  shared how putting up his art right now helps him cope with how he’s feeling, instead of sitting at home, worrying.“I’m trying to deal with my own anxiety, and my own feeling of being disempowered,” Novy said. “We don’t know what tomorrow holds — we’re kind of sitting here waiting — and making art and putting it up makes me feel like I’m somehow empowered over the situation.”

Adams Nest have been following Jeremy Novy on social media for some time and while sheltered at home during the COVID-19 outbreak in Florida, scrolling instagram, they caught his praying hands with soap on a rope and they reached out about a collaboration.  Together, they decided to launch a charity t-shirt with 100% of net proceeds supporting Meals on WheelsNo Kid Hungrythe Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Relief FundNational Domestic Workers Alliance, and One Fair Wage Emergency Fund.

You can order this T shirt and all the other charity T shirts ADAMS NEST make right HERE
