His latest film A BODY TO LIVE IN, is essentially a biographical documentary of the artist known as Fakir Mustafar, considered to be one of the founders of the modern primitive movement. However, Madsen uses Farkir’s art of pioneering work, promoting piercing as a base to explore the art and culture of queer body modification.
