It’s going to go down in queer as history the day that the angelic superstar left this earth.  Even Buckingham Palace rose to the occasion with the Coldstream Guards playing 9-5 at the Changing of the Guards the next day.  Here in Provincetown, we all focused on celebrating her life: she was, after all, the best ally that the LGBTQA+ community has ever had.   

In the town centre, we met the two former Madonna Towns (see HERE) who had turned out in pink to pay homage to Miss Dolly: they are becoming our favorite Queerguru readers/followers, 

Back in the UK we turned to rewatch the times when  Graham Norton had Dolly as the guest of his award-winning chat show, and it was so obvious she was having a blast.  Norton has a knack for making any superstar comfortable, but in this instance you can spot the genuine affection between the two of them.  He brought out one of the many sides of Dolly that we loved her for.

RIP You will be so missed.
