More events to celebrate World AIDS DAY 2025 in London

If you missed the  World AIDS Day RED RUN in London last week (which, for reasons unknown to us, the Brits insisted on holding a week EARLY) do not despair, as on December 1st (the correct date) you can WALK 10KM for THE TERRENCE HIGGINS TRUST.  They are challenging everyone to walk 10km on Monday 1 December or a day of your choice. If you’d like to increase the distance and set a higher target, that’s completely up to you!  There is no participation fee BUT they would like you to raise at least £100. (easey peasy eh? ) REGISTER now and you’ll even get a free t-shirt

It seems so natural as London is such a diverse multi-cultural city, then its very appropriate that World AIDS Days reflect that.  On Sunday, 20th November, the West London Synagogue will be holding its 12th annual World AIDS Day service and concert, joining forces once more with its partners, the fabulous London Gay Men’s Chorus. spiritual and musical journey of love and kindness. It’s a celebration of the importance of support for people living with HIV, and the remarkable scientific advances towards HIV eradication by 2030.

They plan to continue to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS as a major public health challenge, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa. More than two-thirds of the World’s  HIV-positive population lives there, and a collection will be held for a final third year to support the Egmont Trust in its remarkable work in Africa
