Since the disastrous result of the U.S. Election which will probably end up with an enormous number of homophobic misogynist racists running the Government, now more than ever our community needs to take stock to ensure that they do not turn back the clock on all the rights that we fought so hard for so long.  It makes it even crucial that we remember … and honor ….our own history so that our past can help us shape our future too.

One man who is very committed to just that across The Pond is Lenard Pink a self styled International Homosexual & Historian, Host, Raconteur, social commentator, cabaret artist and TV presenter.  In 2017 the UK will celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the passing of the Sexual Offences Act which finally decriminalized homosexual acts.  To mark the occasion Pink has made a new documentary with the most perfect title ‘I’m Still Queer’ in which in his own inimitable witty style, he profiles 12 luminaries from London’s vibrant, historical and sometimes controversial gay scene.

queerguru is sharing this sneak preview of his movie that will be shown at London’s iconic Royal Vauxhall Tavern on February 4th 2017, and then hopefully popping up at Film Festivals around the globe.
