BuzzFeed has produced a powerful new video that goes a long way to help de-mystifying the role of sex workers in our community today. It is, as the three interviewed claim, just another job. One that they are proud and open about, and that they are eager to discuss to dispel some of the many myths about what they actually do, and why.
With the title ‘I’m a Sex Worker, But I’m Not …..” the trio are quick to point out that salient facts like that they are not worthless are indeed capable of having relationships, and so much more. By bringing this long overdue conversation into a public forum , these sex workers from different sections of our society add a sense of dignity to their chosen profession, and show that beyond their work, they are also humans who do so much more too.
