In the summer of 2025, CAN Community Health proudly launched the Susan Terry Foundation, established to support our Patient Assistance Fund and strengthen our national mission for equity in healthcare. All financial proceeds from the World AIDS Day Concert will benefit the Susan Terry Foundation, expanding opportunities for those in need through the Patient Assistance Fund.

This fund provides critical support to economically disadvantaged patients, helping cover personal and medical expenses during times of hardship. It ensures that those facing extenuating circumstances receive the care and resources they need to thrive.

MEANWHILE in London for World AIDS DAYImpulse London  (a Queer men’s sexual & mental health organisation) presents WE LOOK BACK, WE LIVE ON, which is a night of remembrance, resilience, and renewal – honouring lives lost and celebrating the power of community.

It’s at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, probably London’s most famous and favorite queer venue, and  the night will open with a Red Light Vigil, where attendees will come together to remember those we’ve lost. The vigil will feature a special performance by the London Gay Men’s Chorus, alongside and speeches from community voices.

As the evening unfolds, the tone will shift toward celebration – recognising how far we’ve come in the fight against stigma and inequality. Guests will enjoy live performances, speeches from local organisations, and the chance to connect and celebrate together.

They will also partner with Good Boi Candles to create Redefined – a candle inspired by the spirit of this event. And here’s a little extra: the first 100 guests through the door will receive their own candle to take home.

Entry is free, you can register here…
