Hard to believe that we have already enjoyed 10 glorious years of HOMOSTASH so far : it seems like only yesterday we were at the opening party in London’s East End. It’s the brainwave of DJ and promoter Tafkanik & creative director and photographer Rodrigo Branco and it features and brings together alternative culture and moustache lovers across the globe.
Since its creation in 2014, Homostash has been a London-based party that delivers an open-minded, welcoming and fun atmosphere. Starting at the Moustache Bar in Dalston, it moved to Dalston Superstore in 2015. Later in 2022, Homostash expanded to Colours Hoxton.
Homostash has hosted guest events at EGG London as well as Eagle London. It had the honour of organising the official event for the LGBT History Month UK at Five Miles in 2018 and has collaborated with other major LGBTQIA+ London parties such as Papa Loko, Trough, Howl, and international online events during the pandemic.
The 10th Anniversary Celebrations will kicj iff in Saturday Augst 16th with an exhibtion/zine launch pre party at Velorose (@veloroselondon). Followed by the anniversary rave at Colours Hoxton (@colourshoxton). Both events will feature DJs and performers who were part of Homostash history as well as hot new talent. Besides Homostash resident DJs Tafkanik, Teleopath & Selecky and Athens based techno headliner DJ/producer Die Arkitekt an array of iconic DJs from other leading queer parties such as Makaan, Slimelight, Transister, Yes Babe!, Lucky Dip and Dark Room amongst others!
