One of the reasons QUEERGURU loves to live in this queer mecca at the tip of Cape Cod are meeting some of the wonderfully passionate and committed people who live and work here. Near the top of the list of our favorite Provincetown residents is ANITA COCKTAIL : she is a consummate MC, showgirl, chantuese and so much more. During the summer months Anita is hosting/starring in events all over town at quite a dizzy pace, and she makes a point of using as much local drag talent as she can,. This is a refreshing change from other shows from ex Drag Race contestants who still depend only on their past fleeting moments of fame

Queerguru sat down with Anita and it was impossible not to be caught up in her infectious humor and her sheer energy as she talked aoiut putting together a whole slew of events from Drag Brunch, Drag BIngo, and her Cocktail Hour Show .

When we touched on the change of ownership on some of the major venues in town this summer, she never missed a beat. She is indefatigable  and not only a great believer that whatever happens ‘the show will go on’  but we know hers will still be one of the very best shows in Town
