In what is probably the best news that queerguru has heard for a very long time, is the announcement that the gay activist (and throughly wonderful woman) Edie Windsor has re-married. It seems somehow apt that Edie who is universally recognized as a pioneer of same-sex marriage after her late partner Thea Spyer had passed should, at the young age of 87 years old, find herself a new bride. On Monday, she and her new partner, 51 year old Judith Kasen, a vice president at Wells Fargo Advisors married at City Hall in NY on Monday.
Like everyone else who has had the pleasure of meeting her and coming under her spell, queeguru is totally thrilled for Edie and her bride, and wish them a wonderful and happy life together.
