Cindy Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, who collaborated on the multi-Tony Award winner Broadway musical Kinky Boots, have rewritten words to one of the show’s songs to show support for the transgender community.

The video shows the cast of the musical, many of them men in drag, using the what looks like the biggest men’s urinals  ever (at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre where they perform) and they are all ‘spending a penny’ while singing the refrain: “Just pee (where you want to pee).”

Lauper who never canceled her own concerts in North Carolina  and will perform in Raleigh, on Saturday and has already said she plans to donate the funds to the LGBT-rights group Equality North Carolina.
