When Josh came out as gay to his Jehovah Witness family and told them about his boyfriend, they asked him to leave home and then totally disowned him. He was one of the lucky ones who managed to replace his biological family with a new ‘logical‘ one who befriended him on London’s gay scene. His story at least had a happy ending.
