it appears that the Vice President is not just content with brown kissing his boss, but he is aping him by also acting as if the US (and other parts of the World) are his private fiefdom. Earlier this year, he had the Colosseum in Rome and the Taj Mahal in India closed during his family visits, which did not go down with locals and tourists alike.
That pales in insignificance with his latest exploit, which involves the National Park Service, which The Orange Buffoon decimated in February when he fired about 1,000 newly hired National Park Service employees, including maintenance workers, guides, and educators. The Service warned that the reductions will shorten visitor center hours, close campgrounds, delay openings, and put public safety at risk.
Vance had the Army Corps of Engineers raise the water level of a river in Ohio so he could kayak with his family for his 41st birthday. You cannot make this sh-t up!
According to the Associated Press on August 1, the Corps temporarily increased outflows from Caesar Creek Lake State Park in southwest Ohio into the Little Miami River, which runs through the Cincinnati metropolitan area, at the request of the Secret Service “to support safe navigation of U.S. Secret Service personnel.” Vance spent the following day, August 2, kayaking on the river near his Cincinnati home.
Like his Boss who spends more time on the Golf course than in Washington, in the first 6 months of this Administration, Vance has had more vacations than any of us! Currently holidaying in the Cotswolds in the UK in a sprawling manor with a tennis court, two wine cellars, basement gym. rose garden and a Georgian Orangery. So asides from all this and his kayaking, Vance has been vacationing in Disney Land, sking in Vermont, the Colosseum trip to Rome, plus of course the Taj Mahal in India.
We would not normally criticizie anyone from having excessive leisure time BUT when it cost millons of dollars and is funded soley by taxpayers at the time this Adminstration has laid of hundreds of thousands of good hard working people who are simply struggling to survive
