Alone With Chanel : Inga Kyrmskaya

Miami Beach has always been about sex, sun, sand and stars but this week they play second fiddle to our other obsession : art. This is Miami Art Week which is the world’s leading contemporary art show with the central focus being on the Art Basel Fair which serves as the ‘serious art for grown-ups‘ part. However outside of the Convention Center there are over 20 Satellite Fairs  of various sizes and varying art.  Some of it excellent, and some of it not.  If you ignore the latter which mainly suffers from being too derivative, then there are tents/spaces/galleries full of some of the best edgy new art around today.

One of the very best satellite shows is SCOPE Miami Beach situated in a 10,000 sq. ft Marquee right on the beach along Ocean Drive. This is its 16th Edition and it features some 125 International Exhibitors from 22 countries and 57 cities. Spoilt for choice, but here nevertheless is queerguru’s Top Picks From Scope 2016
