Alex Guerra is the co-owner of Hotel Gaythering THE queer hotel on Miami Beach. When Queerguru first heard of his ambitious plans to help support queer artists and queer art all those years ago, we were there like a shot.  We’ve never missed a single event since, and now we are back visiting ART GAYSEL 13, which is being held at the Gifford House Inn in Provincetown.

Queerguru was there with our cameras on opening day and got to sit down to talk with a few of the artists.  One of the rooms was curated by Momma Lee Curtis, who had selected 9 local artists to be part of her ‘art family’ and this included Thor, originally from Norway, but now a resident of Provincetown for the past 11 years.  He is making his Art Gaysel debut, and he talked to Queerguru as he was putting the finishing touches to one of his art pieces
