The Revel Puck Circus a young innovative circus troupe is back in town with a brand-new show called THE RUCKUS with an extraordinary all-female lineup in Walthamstow, East London. The cast is headlined by circus artist, physical performer, and Drag King Ruby Gaskell, who won Europe’s largest Drag King Competition Man Up! back in 2021,
Joining them at the top of the tent and making her debut in England will be aerialist Zoe Schubert, silver medallist for Great Britain in 2018’s World Championships in Antwerp. The show also features another extraordinary international competitor Strong Woman, Helga Ehrenbusch, who was a member of Estonia’s national Acrobatic Gymnastics team.
When I was a child (way back when) a trip to the circus was always a traditional Christmas treat in the UK, and boy they were nothing like the Revel Puck Circus. It strives to represent the unrepresented and aims to make the circus accessible for all, presenting audiences with experiences that reflect and represent London communities.. The company aims to curate performances that allow audiences to see themselves in the performers.
