Its Party time in Washington DC , and the (very) good news there will be no sign at all of the current  temporary resident of The White House.    Back for its 2nd year at the iconic Union Station Washington is the highy anticipated Pink Tie Party.…..this is the must-attend soirée of the season! 

If you didn’t know, the city is famous for other things besides politics….. and is the amazing Cherry Blossom Festival.  One spring QUEERGURU decamped to the historic Hay Adams Hotel …. with the best view in the city, to enjoy the stunning  displays of pnk blossom during the day.  At night it was another matter as THE social event of the years back then was The Adams Morgan Drag Pageant : a spectacular event that proceeded Drag Race which has never reached the heights of that singular Ball. 

But the ‘new boy’ in Town is The Pink Tie Party which is back for its second year D.C. is  one of the National Cherry Blossom Festival’s signature events, this is the must-attend soirée of the season! Its world of vibrant springtime celebrations inspired by Rio’s Carnival, Venice’s Festival, will include incredible performers like Batala, Perfekt Blend, and Members of Cafritz Young Artists of Washington National Opera.  To play their part partygoers must DRESS IN YOUR BEST PINK AND FLORAL ATTIRE
