If you blinked too long in 2021 you may have missed The Other Direction’s performance on AGT when they declared that they were the World’s gayest  Boy Band. Five cute 21 year olds whom had all met in school some 9 years previously and vowed to meet up again, were about to sing their original  song “Gurl Ur The Best”.  As soon as they started  we kind of fell in love with them with their witty lyrics and their infectious sense of humor.  Even the tough-to-please Simon Cowell was on his feet beaming and applauding wildly at the end.

What happened to them after this we’ll never know. That one night these 5 talented young men held the world in their hands, but soon after they seemed to have completely disappeared from the face of the earth.  

We mention this now as we know that the LGBTQ+ community’s support can make or break musical acts, but in this case we never got the chance.  This is all going though our minds at the very time the nasty rampant homophobic Village People singer that WE MADE ENORMOUSLY SUCCESSFUL is threatening us with legal action if we ever called them GAY!  (For the record the whiny bitch Victor Willis, the original lead singer of the Village People, was the ONLY straight member of the band.
