It’s almost time for the annual Bear Carnival in Gran Canaria ….. Europe’s largest program for bears and admirers …. and one of the Festival’s highlights is The Tantric Sessions. It is a program of five events focused on self-love, self-acceptance and male bonding. Parallel to the bear week, it is the only tantra festival in the World catered for the gay bear community.The organizers point out that today’s gay dating and cruising scene can probably be summarized in just six acts: meet – arouse – penetrate – ejaculate – rest – repeat. There is nothing wrong about that of course, but once you reach a certain maturity, this fast sex loop can sometimes lead you to a sense of emptiness. Some questions arise, like… Is this all gay sex can offer? Are we maybe missing something?
The Tantra Sessions, the only one of its kind, is a set of five events and workshops exploring self-awareness, self-love, and male bonding at a completely new level. Bear Carnival’s experienced Tantra therapists (Patrick Emmanuel from Germany and Jesse Elkins from the USA), will be on hand to guide individual bears, couples and groups into a profound state of relaxation and sensory elevation. All this is achieved by using touch, body contact, and male-to-male erotic massage aimed at enhancing the depth and intensity of your loving encounters. In addition, Tantra therapy is known for alleviating sexual and emotional barriers related to close intimacy and self-acceptance which is commonly experienced by gay men, particularly in the bear community; so participants should be prepared for that as well.
