The Met Gala chairs are all women: Nicole Kidman, Beyoncé, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, but it doesn’t stop some men from stealing the show when it comes to dressing up. With this year’s theme ‘FASHION IS ART” there were some great looks, and fewer bad ones since someone had the bright idea of NOT inviting Billy Porter.
Lest we forget, the event is the primary fundraiser for the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is the only department at the museum required to fund its own entire annual budget.
