The irrepressible hysterically funny Dan Levy is BACK on Netflix in a new TV series and we couldnt be happier

The brilliantly multi-talented and hysterically funny DAN LEVY is heading back to our TV screens with a fab new series, BIG MISTAKES. Levy, who created, wrote, and produced this comedy about a dysfunctional family, also stars as Nicky, a Christian pastor.  A gay one naturally (with a cute boyfriend)  and Nicky is meant to be the glue holding this family together, especially after a ctime boss is after them for the necklace that Nicky’s sister (Taylor Ortega) stole to appease an overbearing mom, Linda (Laurie Metcalf).

On the strength of the phenomenal success of the multi-award-winning Schitts Creek (that Levy made with his father Eugene), Netflix signed him up to create film and TV, and this is the first result of that deal. It airs on April 9th

In Big Mistakes, there’s a moving scene in which Dan Levy’s character, Nicky, is in bed with his partner, Tareq (Jacob Gutierrez). Nicky is a Christian pastor, and Tareq asks him why people would cite God to condemn a love like theirs.

“God is perfect — but the people who interpret him are not,” Nicky responds
