Ulster queer singer Conleth Kane‘s musical breakthrough was appearing on Fame: The Musical a singing and dance contest on Ireland’s RTE in 2010. Then he swapped his hometime of Lurgan for London and he has not looked back since. He recorded his debut album ‘Proud – Live in London‘ at The Crazy Coqs in London’s West End which shot to Number 2 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter Charts in Feb 2019.
Subsequently, this charismatic talented singer/songwriter has wowed crowds at iconic queer venues such as the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and so many Pride Events around the UK ……including one at London’s prestigious Stock Exchange,
Last year Conleth was nominated for ‘Best LGBTQ+ Entertainer’ at the GNI Magazine Awards in Belfast. The same year he teamed up with 7th Heaven for a 2023 summer single, a cover of the classic All Saints hit ‘Pure Shores‘ that went to number 16 on the Commercial Pop Club Charts
Now he is back on Queerguru’s radar and he has celebrated his 40th Birthday with his brand new single ‘City Of The Lost Boys’ , It’s been described “A love letter to our beloved London, with an Erasure-style synth sprinkling of Soho stardust, storytelling at its best, with lyrics we’ll all find relatable.
