The British Embassy sponsor a rather fab mural on the outside of The Little Gay Pub in Washington DC

Queerguru (and its ex-Brit Editor) love the fact that The British Embassy in Washington DC sponsored an incredible mural by DC artist Lisa Marie Studio on the outside of The Little Gay Pub

This “Great Love is for everyone” mural spotlights the Great Love campaign, which celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community and the UK and US’s shared values of equality and diversity.

This Legacy Mural portrays an iconic British telephone booth surrounded by the Rose of England, the Thistle of Scotland, the Daffodil of Wales, and the Shamrock of Northern Ireland.

The rainbow color choices are influenced by the gay pride flag and symbolize healing energy, peace, and abundance. The incorporation of the iconic British telephone booth refers to communication and the importance of proclaiming these positive cultural values from the United Kingdom and our respect for the beautiful diversity around the world.
