Queerguru has always admired anyone with a big set of balls. Like when we received an email from a QG reader in Melbourne, Australia that told us we should really take notice of Stevie Bankster an amazing queer indie R & B singer.  He went on to add ‘He is a sensitive queer man who wears his emotions on his sleeve, Stevie draws inspiration from vintage Hollywood aesthetics and modern-day experiences, crafting a vibe that is raw, soulful, and unapologetically real.”  He said we should take a listen to his music as after a seven-year hiatus from the music scene, Stevie is back with a fresh perspective, continuing to push the boundaries of his genre by blending soul, R&B, and pop influences with his own distinct, heartfelt sound.

So we did listen and also take a look at his new video too, and  liked what we heard and saw (he’s not actually tough on the eyes!).  Then  ….. and this is where the balls come in…… we noticed that this glowing recommendation was actually from Steve himself!

He told us that he handles every aspect of his career himself—as a self-funded artist. His journey toward self-acceptance and personal growth permeates his music, making it both relatable and deeply moving.
