Sometimes you come across an idea that is so brilliant that you cannot understand why it hasn’t been done before. FRIENDS OF DOROTHY PHARMACY AND WELLNESS IS EXACTLY THAT. Two friends in the UK came together to start both a Pharmacy and a Wellness Centre specifically for gay, bi, and trans men. As one of the partners, Oliver James reminded us that most pharmacies are run by women, and getting prescriptions filled or purchasing sexual aids, or often just having a dialogue with them means we feel like we are having to ‘come out’ all over again.

Plus, a major hangover from the AIDS pandemic is that safe sex is the ONLY method that is actively promoted. The fun/enjoyable side of sex is no longer considered a topic we can/should be able to talk about, where we buy sex aids. Currently, FRIEND OF DOROTHY can only fill UK prescriptions, BUT they expect to be able to accept US ones later this year, BUT all the wellness products can be shipped around the world and also purchased via Amazon

This new venture is long overdue and such a wonderful idea for our community, and we believe ALL FRIENDS OF DOROTHY SHOULD BECOME FULL FAMILY MEMBERS NOW
