Celebrated photographer and Soho habitué DAMIEN FROST has been capturing the undisputed stars of the London’s alternative drag scene for some years. His stunning photographers of all those club ‘kids’  were the subject of his book Night Flowers: From Avant-drag to Extreme Haute Couture.

It featured over 300 portraits of  the loose-knit community of drag kings and queens, club kids, Goths, alternative queer and transgender people, fetishists, and cabaret and burlesque performers – all of whom bloom late at night and burn brightly under the city’s neon lights.

Published in 2016, it was also the title of the retrospective at the Museum of London in 2018. Since then Frost has kept adding to this portfolio ….. he tries to take at least one photo per day …..and the Museum have now added some to their permanent collection.
