There are no two weeks the same here in Provincetown, the wee gem of a town at the very tip of Cape Cod where QUEERGURU decamps to each year. We love all the different ‘theme weeks’ that fill up our calendars, and that seem fairly split between all the various groups in town.  Each year there are 3 different Womens Weeks, 3 for the Bear Community, and naturally in this queer town, there are three different Leather Weeks

In October, there was the 28th Mates Leather Weekend, complete with Boot Camps and a First Mate Contest & Jock Party where wearing just skimpy underwear is de riguer, and The Fetish Party where you can where ans share your own personal kinks!

Now the weekend before Thanksgiving the town hosts New England Leather Weekend. Founded by Full Kit in 2013, New England Leather (NEL) is proud to be celebrating its 12^th year as a contest, its 2nd year as a NON-Gender-Specific Contest, and its 1st Year as an official nonprofit here in the State of MA.  They have reached a milestone as a Title Contest to represent New England’s LGBTQ+ Leather Community. This celebration empowers our organization to continue being a force for positivity in our LGBTQ+ community and beyond, and being a welcoming, supportive space for New England’s queer leather people regardless of gender or gender expression.

You can enter. MR. MS. or MX.New England Leather Competition. The winner of the title will represent the region at International Mr. Leather (IML) contest or International Ms. Leather (IMsL) during their New England Leather title year. An airfare and lodging stipend will be awarded to the winner in addition to their New England Leather title sash and back patch. The winner will represent the leather community of New England for one calendar year.

Other events (we will be attending) include. Foreplay: Cocktails for early arrivals @ Crews Quarters, Plus the T-Dance with  Pup Mosh, Bootblack, Meet-Ups, Demos, & Vendor Mart.
