Men Don’t Whisper

After being emasculated at a sales conference, gay couple Reese (Charles Rogers) and Peyton (Jordan Firstman)  have a quarrel about who is the more masculine of them.  When Reese tries to score points by declaring it must be him as he once slept with a  girl back in High School, ‘goldstar’* Peyton decides the only way to settle this argument and regain their confidence and prove their masculinity is to sleep with some women.

When they meet fellow conference attendees and pleasure seekers Beth (Bridey Elliott) and Dominique (Clare McNulty), in the Bar later that night it seems like a perfect opportunity. Unfortunately, sealing the deal is easier said than done but it does have some very hilarious consequences which will make every gay man shudder a little

This wonderfully delightful short movie was written by Firstman and Roger who are partners in real life and who were also both involved in the TV crime comedy show Search Party which Rogers co-created.  Men Don’t Whisper has just been released on Vimeo after successful screenings at both Sundance and SXSW Film Festivals.
